Joshua is an extraordinary father. As shown in the episode, Dad's Dungeon, he has the ability to defeat a demon and to make the Demon's blood sword. He wants Finn to be a strong, motivated man. Because when Finn was a baby, he was squishy and he always cries. Joshua never knew that Finn became Ooo's hero, for he died due to sickness.
